Polonophobic Memes AntiSemitism MIchnik vel Szechter
Against Anti-Semitism: An Anthology of Twentieth-Century Polish Writings, by Adam Michnik (Editor). 2017
Stale, Rehashed Accusatory Anti-Polish Memes—Coming From Morally-Disqualified Critics. Much Better Works Available (Listed)
This is mostly a set of old articles, originally in Polish, translated into English. Some of the authors are real winners. For instance, Jerzy Andrzejewski (pp. 93-on) and Tadeusz Mazowiecki (pp. 170-on) were hard-core Stalinists.
Editor Adam Michnik vel Szechter, who sits on a perch moralizing and grandstanding about Polish conduct (here and in his Judeocentric George Soros funded GAZETA WYBORCZA), still has not come to terms with the fact of the criminality of his half-brother, Stalinist judge Stefan Michnik, who had long escaped to Sweden to evade justice for the deaths of nine people. See my review of:
Bestie Mordercy Polakow
Evidently, Adam Michnik vel Szechter fancies himself some kind of moral authority. He is not. He calls on others to do moral reckoning over comparative trivialities, but he refuses to do any moral reckoning with the criminality of his own murderous Communist family.
Other authors of this Polonophobic anthology are not much better, and include the LEWACTWO. For instance, Jerzy Jedlicki (pp. 347-on) is affiliated with the leftist so-called Stefan Batory Foundation, which is being funded by the notorious internationalist George Soros.
THE SAME OLD, SAME OLD LITANY OF CANNED ACCUSATIONS AGAINST POLES
The memes raised in this book are older than the hills, and have been dusted off a hundred times before to show what a terrible people the Poles are: the blood libel, Roman Dmowski, the Narutowicz assassination, the “myth” of the Zydokomuna (Judeo-Bolshevism), Bereza Kartuska, Cardinal Hlond, Polish “indifference” to Jews dying during the German-made Shoah, Kielce, Jedwabne, the events of 1968, the Poles (!) attempted monopolization of Auschwitz, etc. It is the same old PEDAGOGIKA WSTYDU (the politics of shame) in action.
The account given, by Ksawery Pruszynski (pp. 33-on), about the Przytyk pogrom, is notably egregious. For corrective, see my review of Pogrom? Zajscia polsko-zydowskie w Przytyku 9 marca 1936 r. : Mity, Fakty, Dokumenty (Polish and English Edition).
Not surprisingly, Holocaust supremacism makes a strong appearance. Hanna Swida-Ziemba (pp. 317-on) laments that Poles, in general, are not obediently falling in line behind the (presumed) specialness of the Jews’ Holocaust. It gets even better. Jan Blonski (pp. 271-on) and his essay of Holocaustianity gets reprinted for the umpteenth time.

ACCUSATIONS OF INTOLERANCE TOWARDS MINORITY GROUPS, AS DIRECTED AGAINST POLES RELATIVE TO THE JEWS, CAN BE TURNED AROUND. THUS [see my reviews]:
The Jews of pre-WWII Poland were not exactly welcoming towards the local Gypsy (Sinti and Roma) minority:
Bialystok to Birkenau
The Janowska Road
Just as the Nazi German occupation did not bring Poles and Jews together (or so we are told), neither did it bring Jews and Gypsies together. To the contrary:
The Pavement of Hell
FAST-FORWARD TO TODAY. MANY ISRAELI JEWS ARE VERY PREJUDICED AGAINST THEIR ISRAELI-ARAB NEIGHBORS:
The Holocaust Is Over; We Must Rise From its Ashes
