Zydokomuna Denialism Backfires: Jews and Revolutionary Propaganda Spiewak

Zydokomuna: Interpretacje Historyczne, by Pawel Spiewak. 2012

“Refutation” of Jews in Communism Actually Supports It. Communist Propaganda Organs Were 75%-90% Jewish!

Author Pawel Spiewak is Director of the Jewish Institute in Warsaw. He is a typical lewak. Everything bad in Polish-Jewish relations is the Poles’ fault, including the Jews’ turn to Communism. The devil made me do it. He runs down historian Marek Jan Chodakiewicz as a (what else?) nationalist and bigot. (p. 214). Spiewak, however, at least admits that Roman Dmowski was opposed to pogroms, if only for ulterior motives. (p. 43).

THE ZYDOKOMUNA WAS SIGNIFICANT. IT WORE MANY DISGUISES

Although this book is advertised as refuting the Zydokomuna, it actually provides evidence that substantiates it.

According to Polish historians, 75% of the members of the proto-Communist SDKPiL were Jews. (p. 60). Jews were the driving force in the Revolution of 1905. The Bund led many strikes, and promoted both Jewish separatism and the Marxist notions of class warfare and internationalism. (p. 59).

During the Russian Revolution (1917), the Bund and Poale Zion backed the Reds. (p. 82). The commissars in the Red Army were largely Jewish. (p. 95).

Later, the differences between the Bund, and the overtly Communist PoaleI Zion Left, were, in Spiewak’s words, “subtle”. (p. 138). Many members of the Hashomer Hatzair became Communists. (p. 139).

Judeo-Bolshevism, in spite of Spiewak and other apologists, became very much a reality. Spiewak writes (translation), “Jewish Communists played a huge role in the Soviet Union, in Hungary, in Romania, in Lithuania, in Germany, in the United States, and especially in Poland.” (p. 146).

ONCE AGAIN, THE HIGH INTELLIGENCE OF JEWISH COMMUNISTS MADE THEM INDISPENSABLE

Communism, first and foremost, rests on propaganda. In about 1936, the journalism division of the Polish Communist Party was 75% Jewish. (p. 153). The technical department (printing, mass distribution) was over 90% Jewish. (p. 124).

THE “POLISH ANTISEMITISM DROVE JEWS TO COMMUNISM” EXCULPATION FALLS APART

Spiewak consistently runs down Poland. Interestingly, however, he points out that, after the Soviets had conquered the Kresy in 1939, they banned the Sabbath and arrested rabbis and yeshiva students (p. 185); something not even imagined in prewar Poland. We did not see Jews complain about it. While often bad-mouthing Poland for every little thing, the Jews evidently gave the Soviets a pass, and continued supporting Communism.
